DreamHost is one of those hosting providers aimed on high quality services rather than cheap prices; that makes it a good choice for hosting websites for that the uptime and the data security is very important. I've been with DreamHost since 2008 and always found them wonderful to work with. Some of my clients use others, so I've been around, but no one is as helpful as DreamHost.

This support team offers all the options (chat, ticket, and callback) that you want/need to get your issue resolved. They even go the extra mile of routing a ticket to a specialist that has the background on an earlier ticket, which happened for me this week with superior results. Continue to be amazed by all my interactions!

I've been with DreamHost for 15 years now... (wow!) Their support has always been very quick and accurate, and over this time have I experienced an outage that really impacted me only once - (either in '06 or '09). Dreamhost scrambled like mad to resolve this major outage, but more importantly, learned from it and enhanced their high availability and disaster recovery plans. I haven't had any issues beyond standard support stuff since - and those, as mentioned, have all been resolved quickly the first time. Why mess with a good thing? I highly recommend DreamHost.

Dreamhost's PS hosting is the best. I've used the shared, and the support is terrible, but if you upgrade to the DreamVPS program, then the service and support is great. The database and google apps integration makes the control panel great, and rss updates on your exact server keep you on top of down time. Go with DH, and you won't go wrong.
